BookByte

Privacy policy

Last updated October 20, 2026.

What we collect

BookByte has no accounts, forms or comments, and doesn’t set its own cookies. We don’t sell or share personal information.

Newsletter

If you sign up for the free write-offs guide, your email address is collected by beehiiv, the service that runs the Computatio newsletter, under its own privacy policy. You can unsubscribe from any email.

Services that load with the site

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages and loads fonts from Google Fonts. Like any web server, these services receive your IP address and basic browser information when you load a page, under their own privacy policies.

Visit counts

We count page visits with GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics service. It sets no cookies and doesn’t track you across sites. It records the page you visited, the site that sent you, and general details such as browser, screen size and country. It doesn’t store your IP address.

Changes

If we add another analytics service or a form, this page will be updated first and will say what is collected and why.
